We have a new chat room to use this November for our communication and Virtual Chats. Please follow the instructions below to get set up and use the new chat room:


Step 1: Register for the chat room at http://chatnano.servehttp.com/wrimo-registrar.php using your NaNoWriMo user name and your other information. Pick USA :: Oregon :: Salem as your Region. PLEASE BE PATIENT! This site may take a few minutes to register you.


Step 2: Log in at http://chatnano.servehttp.com/wrimo-login.php by filling out the user name and password you registered, and select an interface. For Flash select LightIRC, for Java select Mibbit. Click submit. If you chose Mibbit, you'll have to give your name and password a second time, but then you should be good to go!


Step 3: Visit the log in page every time you'd like to log in to the chat room.


For those of you who prefer to use IRC clients, you will want to point your client at ipocalypse.net and then join #salemnano


If you want to visit other regions' chat rooms, you can find their chat room names over here: http://chatnano.servehttp.com/chats.php - once you're logged into your regional room, just type /join CHANNEL NAME (where you replace "CHANNEL NAME" with the name of the channel you want to visit) and off you go!
